They Hate Allen

They Hate Allen

Allen is this young redhead neighbor of my friend's Aaron and Jenny. The dogs go nuts, barking non-stop and going wild at every sighting of him. This has happened every trip up here for the last two years and I have no clue as to why.

    tire pressure
  • Cold inflation pressure is the inflation pressure of tires before the car is driven and the tires warmed up. Recommended cold inflation pressure is displayed on the owner's manual and on the placard (or sticker) attached to the vehicle door edge, pillar, glovebox door or fuel filler flap.

  • The manufacturer's recommended pressure for a tire, dependent on load, speed, etc., usually given in bar or pound-force per square inch (psi). (1.8 bar = 26 psi; 2 bar = 29 psi; 2.2 bar = 32 psi; 2.4 bar = 35 psi; 2.7 bar = 39 psi)

  • The measure of air pressure within a race tire.

  • The side or part of an object that presents itself to view or that is normally seen or used first; the most forward part of something

Bridgestone BT002 Front Tire

Bridgestone BT002 Front Tire

This is the bridgestone bt002 front tire. It is a more aggressive street-racing tire (58w). This tire grips the road better than the average street tire, but at the sacrifice of tread-life. This tire is currently at around 5560 miles of commute and canyon riding, and it appears to have at least 2000 miles left. That is better than the original Dunlop D200FST. Although that is probably because I initially did not pay much attention to tire pressure when I started riding. Now, I am much more meticulous about maintaining the best tire pressure for every application. I check it at least once a week, and lowering the psi only for canyon rides.
